Conditions usually in Crown Leases of Marine

Lots in the Colony of Hongkong and the Governor of Hongkong shall cause to be

sealed and shall sign each such Crown Lease

accordingly and shall direct the same to be handed to the purchaser in exchange for a counterpart of such Lease to be executed by him.

In the event of the said Lot not being sold

by the said

Secretary of

State when and so soon

as the same shall

no longer be required for occupation for Military or War Department purposes the said Lot shall thereupon revert to the Government of Hongkong and the Governor of Hongkong

shall

and the

repay to the said

Secretary of State for Imperial purposes aforesaid all purchase moneys paid by him out of Imperial funds for the said Lot and all moneys expended out of such funds in improvements such improvements to be ascertained and certified at the time by the Surveyor General of Hongkong
